Upcoming KiwiSaver changes may effect you.
As from 1 April 2026 KiwiSaver contributions will increase from 3% to 3.5% for both Health NZ and yourself. This will mean that for those also contributing to the AMP NZRT (Super), your employer contributions will reduce from 3% to 2.5%. If you wish to maintain your total contributions at 6% you will need to reduce your Super contributions to 2.5%. If you do nothing your total contributions will increase to 6.5%.
